An innovation by GEDA is the CCS 2000, an hoist safety system.

This system controls the access to an hoist and manages all data directly related to the respective elevator and its user. A smart-card is programmed and operated by means of card managing programs by the plant hirer.

When using the non-contact card the elevator will be unblocked for a specific time-span.

This means, that during that time-span the number of upward and downward movements is unlimited. Each card is issued for a specific utilization time. The access control takes place at the entrance terminal in the elevator.
